J.P.Morgan Chase Bank is one of the world's largest banks and the leading innovator in the FinTech space. The Digital Customer Experience team, which is spread across the U.S., is responsible for designing and developing every digital product that Chase offers, including the website, mobile apps, and ATMs.
I began working at Chase on a contract and quickly converted to FTE. During my time there I mostly worked on the team responsible for designing the account opening process, working to streamline the application process for consumer and business-level accounts.
One project I worked on was establishing a brand new online Mortgage tracking tool which let you find and apply for mortgages, complete paperwork, and track the entire process all within one place, and accessible through web and mobile devices.
For the last six-or-so months of my time at Chase I opeated on a small nameless team focused on exploring potential next-gen financial tools targeted at Millennial and Gen-Z users. I can't discuss any of this work other than saying it was an intensive project which resulted in some very exciting outcomes. FinTech is growing in ways you never imagined.
